Release 1.0.0
With version 1.0.0 we are officially leaving beta, and committing as a team to a stable, day-to-day dependable SaaS for our customers.
Thank you to everyone who improved inboxmcp over the past weeks by opening tickets and reporting problems.
New
This release carries a number of bugfixes, security improvements and stabilisation work, along with the groundwork for the Team plans, which we expect to roll out later this year. A closed beta starts shortly and we are glad to hear from anyone interested.
The Team plan bills per user instead of per mailbox. It adds shared team mailboxes with per-member permissions, central billing, and invitations through your verified company domain. The groundwork for Enterprise is in this release too, and follows in one of the next steps.
Improved
- Several security updates across the backend and the infrastructure, plus refreshed dependencies in every component.
- We tightened the MCP tool descriptions further, so AI clients pick the right tool more reliably and have to ask fewer follow-up questions.
- Scaling work: mailbox access is processed more evenly now, including when a lot of requests arrive at once.
- The pricing pages are laid out more clearly.
- The documentation was brought up to date in several places.
- Various smaller improvements and bugfixes across the website and the portal.
